So again, I haven't updated in a while. Let's see. 3 weeks ago we traveled to St. Paul to see our friend Matt and to see the Red Wings play. Again, the game SUCKED, the Wings played TERRIBLE, and needless to say, they lost. But it was good to see Matt since we hadn't seen him in over a year. The next weekend he came to see us. We went bowling and went to a local hockey game. He brought his dog Butchy, who is 16! He was so good while he was here, and no one really bothered him. I was a little weary of Stewie because he's so hyper sometimes, but for the most part he behaved himself. This past weekend we finally had a chance to stay home! It's been like 3 weeks since we've had a weekend at home! We went to Appleton yesterday to get Declan some new clothes. Nana came with us and we went to a play area for kids called Monkey Joes. They have a HUGE area full of inflatable play things for kids. There was a little toddler area that Declan could play in. He had a lot fun, especially on the slides. We had a lady with an autistic child totally freak out on us though. Her son was playing in the blow up jumpy thingy, and we just commented that we were going to wait to let Declan go in there because there was a "big kid" in there ( he was clearly too old for this part of the play area) and she started freaking out about how he had Autism and would never hurt a fly. Then she said that we should "walk in her shoes for a day." I feel bad, I wasn't trying to kick him out or anything, but I didn't need Declan getting trampled by a bigger kid either. Anyway, other than that we had a good time. As always, here are some pictures!
