Halloween this year was lots of fun! We traveled to Marshfield to Grandma and Grandpa Keenan's. We arrived late Friday night. Declan has slept most of the way there, so by the time we got there, he was pretty wired. He didn't go to bed until a little after 11, and then of course, was wide awake at 7 the next morning. Saturday we had an awesome breakfast. Declan took a pretty good nap in the morning and was good the rest of the day. We ran to Walmart last minute because I thought it would be fun to dress Sam up as a Zombie since he was still undecided about whether he wanted to dress up or not for trick or treating. After I finished Sam's makeup I asked if anyone else wanted to be a Zombie, and as it turns out, Grandma and Grandpa Keenan along with Devin wanted me to do thier makeup too! So that was a lot of fun to do everyone's make up. Then we had to bundle Declan up good. Devin had a great idea, and we got a polar fleece sleeper that we cut the feet out of (so Declan could wear his shoes) and we put that underneath his costume. It was in the low 40's for trick or treating, but thankfully not raining. Grandma and Grandpa Keenan took us to 5th street in Marshfield, which is where EVERYONE goes to trick or treat, and I definitely see why. Most of the houses are decked out in Halloween decorations, and the owners dress up and stand outside to hand out candy. A lot of them had music playing and stuff. It was really neat. And there were SOOOOO many people!!! It was a great time though. Declan made it a few houses before we put him in the stroller and bundled him up in his blanket, and from then on Devin pushed him up to all of the houses. After trick or treating we went back and had an amazing dinner of beef tenderloin and coconut shrimp! Grandpa and Grandma are awesome cooks! Then we watched a scary movie before bed. This morning we hung out for a little bit before we hit the road. We had a great time, and it was good to see everyone!

This morning before we left, Declan and Grandpa were enjoying a book.

On the way to M-field

Declan was playing witht the camera

Friday night when we arrived in Marshfield, Declan was full of energy! Luckily, Sam and Sara were still awake and were willing to help entertain him!

Found some Halloween toys right away...

These are a little out of order, but you get the idea...

One big happy Zombie family...
Right before we left...
He seemed to really enjoy watching all of the people who were dressed up. And there were a lot of GREAT costumes! We saw a Lamp, a Whoopie Cushion, A mini Indiana Jones... People were really creative.
Trick or treat!

He carried that little pumpkin light allllll night.
