Saturday we went to Long Lake. Since we moved here I've been wanting to find a nice lake to go swimming in. It's really weird not having a lake at our disposal like I've had most of my life. But, I asked around work, and Allison told me about Long Lake. We packed a picnic and headed off to the lake. At first, Declan hated the water. He cried until we brought him out. After a little lunch and playing in the sand he decided that he wanted to try again in the water. Once we let him go in by himself he was fine. He wouldn't go in past his waist, but that's okay! I'd rather it be that way!!!
