Easter...

This week was so strange. One one hand there was good news. Devin thankfully recieved a new job. We were getting nervous because he would have been laid off as of May 15th. He'll be working for a local bank as part of the IT team. On the other hand, bad news. Great Grandma Angie passed away. We are SO thankful that we were able to know her like we did, and that she knew us and Declan. We have many memories that we will cherish forever, and lots of pictures to share with Declan as he gets older.

Grandpa Brady came to visit this weekend over Easter. We had a good time and a beautiful weekend. While I was working on Friday, Grandpa and Devin were able to golf. It was windy, but sunny. Saturday we took Declan to the park and to see the Easter Bunny with Nana. He wasn't too sure of the Easter Bunny at first, but we got a couple of cute pictures and after he got off the Bunny's lap he wanted to watch him from a distance. We also colored eggs Saturday night. Declan just wanted to throw them. We decided that he was still too young to do an Easter Egg Hunt, so we decided to wait until next year to try. Sunday we set up Declan's new slide and played outside. We had a really nice weekend :-)

Playing in the tunnel at the park.

Hangin out on the swings

He tolerated them well for a few minutes, then wanted off...

With daddy about to go down the slide.

Decided he can't go up that way.

Yeah, pretty lame slide...

Note to Self: How to make a crabby baby laugh...

Declan likes to look out the window to see what's goin on. Grandpa was hanging out with him.

Hi Stewie!

Not a huge fan of the EB at first.

Still a little unsure.

Then he decided he wasn't so bad.

Watching daddy take out his new toy.

Playing outside.

Playing with the "Gazillion Bubble" machine

YAY! Bubbles! Myyyy bubbles....

Max and Ruby beanie babies from his favorite cartoon. It took me a long time to find the pair and I was so proud of myself when I had.... and he couldn't care less about them. Now I know how MY mom felt during the whole furby craze.

Playing with his new toys.

Pastel Little People construction set... who knew.

Thhhheeeee end.
